Oda Nobunaga
In his youth, Oda Nobunaga acted with wild abandon, misunderstood by the world. Yet deep in his heart, the ambition to pacify the realm had already taken root. During the Battle of Okehazama, he utilized a torrential downpour to launch a surprise assault on the enemy forces, slaying Imagawa Yoshimoto and winning instant fame. After conquering Mino, he relocated his capital to Gifu and proclaimed “Tenka Fubu”, vowing to end the chaotic times through martial force.
When the old factions slandered him, Nobunaga paid them no heed. Instead, he dubbed himself the “Demon King of the Sixth Heaven” and burned away the decayed old order with roaring flames. At the Battle of Nagashino, facing the reputedly invincible Takeda cavalry, he arranged three thousand arquebusiers into three rows to fire in alternating volleys, completely annihilating the enemy with his “three-stage volley” tactic.
Nobunaga governed his army with strict discipline and clear rewards and punishments. He excelled at commanding vast armies in battle and rarely charged into the fray himself, instead directing the entire battlefield from high ground. Yet if an enemy general truly fought their way before him, he would calmly await the perfect moment and turn the tide with a single strike.
Guided solely by his own will and unbound by destiny, the Demon King of the Sixth Heaven now strides through the shattered age of war, marching toward his grand ambition of uniting all under heaven.
